Synthetic ropes come in all types of colors and are easy to maintain. They have a high breaking strength but here you still have to be careful with rope burnt.
Ppm or polypropylene multi filament, looks like nylon but is not.

This rope is light and barely absorbs water. There is little to no stretch on this rope which benefits shibari.
The rope is smooth and dirt resistant.
So these ropes can be used well for shibari applications.
Although these ropes have a high breaking force of 520kg we do not recommend using these ropes for suspension because of the slippery surface.

We recommend these ropes if you are novice and thus still a bit searching.
This rope is therefore a cheap alternative if you do not want to spend money on a set of natural ropes yet.
